Started as a tiny piano ballad, this song blossomed into a full blown epic piece which I consider one of the highlights of the album. There’s this line about yellow sweaters in it, which came from a running gag that morphed into a challenge to write a song about beautiful girls in yellow sweaters. That was such a bright, uplifting image that as soon as you start paying attention to this summer fashion hype, you see them everywhere. I believe cocoon is a good example that from great despair great music can arise. I guess what’s bad for the heart is good for the art.
